I designed many overlapping words that express opposite information on the same topic. These can be readable through one filter, indicating that they are being viewed from a certain perspective.

The topics are those that frequently appear on social media, such as political issues, unverified health tips, fake videos, and arguments without empathy. The objects in the background represent the random distractions in daily life that divert attention from important information.

This poster is the hardest one to make among the three. First, the colour: it needs to be really dark at the overlapping parts, but not too dark to affect reading the words with a filter. Second, the content: I had to read and observe a lot to get the inspiration. And lastly, screen printing is not easy to align layers perfectly; even though this poster only uses two layers, it’s easy to spot the unaligned parts.
